Once upon a time, in the bustling world of night shifts and the challenges of running a US staffing firm, Sriram and Sravya found their joy in the arrival of their firstborn, Shriyansh, in 2016. The journey, however, took a poignant turn in 2018 with the loss of Shriyansh’s paternal grandmother, leaving his grandfather alone.
Shriyansh’s care was shouldered by his maternal grandmother, Ammamma garu, while Sriram and Sravya juggled the responsibilities of their growing US staffing business. In 2022, the family expanded with the arrival of Shivansh, a mischievous yet endearing addition.
As Sravya navigated the complexities of caring for her father-in-law, Shriyansh, and the playful Shivansh, she realized the challenges of maintaining their tender skin amidst her numerous responsibilities. Concerned about their exposure to pollutants and the harsh effects of chemical-laden soaps, she turned to the age-old tradition of Nalugu Snanam.
However, the quest for the right people to perform Nalugu Snanam and a trustworthy herbal bath powder proved elusive. Undeterred, Sravya delved into extensive research, discovering the multitude of benefits Nalugu Snanam offered for kids under 10 - from skin care to overall well-being.
With determination, Sravya, with the support of her husband, embarked on a journey to create a pure herbal bath powder. Pesalu, Vattiveru, Vayuvidangalu, Kachur Sugandhi, Kasturi Pasupu, and more were carefully blended to craft a chemical-free and refreshing herbal bath powder. The results were astounding, affirming Sravya's belief in the power of tradition for her children's skincare.
Yet, she pondered the challenges faced by many parents who lacked the support system she was fortunate to have. This led to the birth of Ammamma Illu, an exclusive haven for children under 10. The name, a nostalgic feeling to every maternal grandmother's home, reflects the warmth, care, and tradition embedded in every service provided.
Ammamma Illu stands as a testament to Sravya's journey from a concerned mother seeking the best for her children to an entrepreneur dedicated to helping countless parents provide the utmost care for their little ones.
